Public Land Lessons -#6 : The Second Sit Is Usually the Better One

First Sits Teach, Second Sits Kill

Your first sit shows you movement, pressure, and mistakes. The second sit lets you fix them. Most people burn a spot once and move on.

Adjust, Don’t Abandon

Move 50 yards. Change height. Shift timing. Public land rewards hunters who learn, not those who panic. I've seen deer 100 yds away and moved my stand over to where they were. Only to have them go right past the tree I moved from🥺. I'll guaranty that's happened to alot of you too? But it's also payed off for me too…Don’t be afraid to move to a different tree mid day .

Let the Woods Talk

Deer show you how to hunt them if you’re paying attention.

FinalThoughts :

Some of my best deer came from a spot I almost wrote off. Comments welcome below. Good luck and stay safe my fellow DIY'ers…

Found a nice spot on a bench, with a good trail and a couple rubs.
