Read The Rub Series: #5 Mt. Cats vs. 5 pt.

Some rubs will tell you all you need to know just by the way the rubbed bark lays on the tree? A rushed or unfinished rub can mean an interruption of some sort? Possibly a Mountain Cat ( Bob, Mt. Lion or a Calico) of some variety? You can't blame the cats… They like deer meat just as much as I do 😼. But I'd rather them not eat the nice bucks, just scrub racks or does. I'll be taking around a petition to stop those felines from poaching, so please sign it and help the cause… Thanks fellow DIY'ers and maybe carry a bag of cat nip along with you when in the woods incase of a cat sighting. Please leave trail cam or cell phone pics of Mt. Cats you’ve taken over the years, thanks again folks.
