Read The Rub Series -#7: Neighborhood Early Season Bucks

Howdy folks, Jason here… I've been noticing lately that more deer seem to be making early season rubs in amongst the neighborhoods ? Not sure why, but I do have a couple theories and I do mean theories 🤔. One I think is there’s more food easily accessible with no snow on the ground? They have easier access to grass and the occasional Big Mac and fries the locals let lay strewn across their yards. Another theory is the sap and bark from the trees is more therapeutic early on in the season with the milder temps. It helps with deer dandruff and dry hoof. They rub up against the trees and work the sap into their horns and hooves like a natural jergins lotion or antler cream… Don’t bother fact checking any of this. I do my own research and have just recently started publishing it. So good luck out there DIY'ers and keep an eye out for next years shooter. Feel free to leave a comment below, thanks…
